Processing Techniques – get(), mouseX and mouseY (interaction)

With further development of my skills I progressed on to working with basic interaction techniques in Processing, with the use of such references as get(), mouseX and mouseY.

In this particular example I loaded an image ‘loadImage()’ in Processing, drew a rectangle ‘rect ()’ and applied the references ‘get()’, ‘mouseX’ and ‘mouseY’ to produce a form of interaction where the images colour is depicted within the rectangle when the mouse is hovered over it (Processing 2 2014).
